In 1972, I Ted Tracey left School and went to work for my father Brian Tracey, a Licensed Motor Vehicle Dealer, as a Car Groomer. 1976 was the year that at the age of 22 years I obtained my Motor Vehicle Dealers License.

In 1979 I purchased the premises that I still operate from. During 1983 the premises were extended by purchasing the property next door. Extensive work was carried out on the sections. The finished project is basically what you see today.

The premises holds around 70 vehicles, it is surrounded by a 2 metre high fence with infra-red alarm system monitored 24 hours 7 days each week. The yard is fully cobbled with landscaping, and flood lit at night.

I have always loved cars especially performance vehicles. Up until 1995 I was selling performance vehicles from Australia and U.S.A. I don't know how many, Falcon GTs, Monaros, Torana SLR 5000s, Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, etc that I have sold but I did enjoy it. I felt like a change and I decided to go to Japan and have a look at what was available.

The Japanese vehicles I found were such value for money that I decided to change to 100% Japanese Imports. I still enjoy performance vehicles - the performance and the look of a vehicle with mags, spoilers, body kits etc still gets me pumping. I go to Japan and buy what I can, keeping in mind that I like to turn my vehicles over quickly and sell at *low prices*
